Australian/American artist Anita Glesta creates work that invites us to reconsider what it means to share a world in turbulent times. With an unwavering commitment to inclusion and engagement, her practice transforms private reflection into collective experience, encouraging viewers to process our interconnected realities in visceral, embodied ways.
Glesta works across painting, sculpture, video, animation, and installation, exploring the intersections of human behavior, social history, and environmental urgency. A painterly sensibility runs through every layer of her practice, shaping the work’s visual language and emotional resonance. This approach is rooted in her beginnings as a painter.
